HOW TO PREP FOR TAN

PREP THOSE BUNS.

  1. Get all your waxes and nails done 1-2 days before your appointment
  2. Night before the spray tan do all your shaving to ensure best color for the next day.
  3. Exfoliate with an oil free scrub. Here are my recommendations. We sell an exfoliating body wash to help you  prepare your skin for your spray tan, stop in! If you can't get to me,  you will want to get HEMPZ exfoliating scrub from Ulta.  If you don't have an oil free scrub please only use water and loofah. DO NOT USE  DOVE, OLAY, AVEENO, OR DIAL SOAPS. THEY WILL TURN YOUR TAN GREEN.
  4. Scrub off all deodorants, lotions, perfumes, shampoos, and conditioners that hit the body and neck.
  5. The day of your appointment do NOT wear makeup, lotions, perfumes, and deodorant. This will react with the spray tan and can affect the tan.

Common Questions & Answers

  1. How long does a spray tan take? Typically 20 mins.
  2. What should I wear during my session?  You can wear an old bathing suit, bra or thong, or you can be completely nude if you don't want tan lines. It will get dirty! Guys must wear bottoms.
  3. What should I wear after my appointment? Dark loose clothing such as sweat pants and a zip up and slippers.
  4. How soon before my event should I get tanned?  It is best to get your airbrushed tan 1-2 days before vacation or event.
  5. Will I look orange?  NO! I have a variety of solutions that are customized to all kinds of skin tones
  6. How long will my tan last?  8-12 days depending on how you take care of it! Moisturize daily! We highly recommend purchasing our lavendar vanilla body wash! It will help prolong your spray tan & is a must!
  7. Can I still tan outside and go into the ocean?   Yes you can get darker but still wear SPF. When it comes to the ocean, choose WATERPROOF sunscreen to help the tan stick. Be aware if you are in the ocean everyday the color will strip faster.
  8. What is DHA?   DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in all sunless tanning products. DHA reacts with the protein found in the outermost layer of your skin producing the brown color.
  9. When can I come back for my next?   Once your old tan is fully off! Typically 2 weeks later
  10. I have sunburn can I still come?   No, we do not recommend it.
  11. Do you spray bridal parties? Yes please contact me with the amount of girls you want to be sprayed
  12. Can I shower and exfoliate before I come to get sprayed? I always recommend to do all that the night before that way your pores have enough time to close up! So shave and exfoliate as you would the night before. If you 100% have to shower before you come do not do any shaving, don't use soaps. Just luke warm water that's it!
  13. What if it's raining on my appointment date? Come prepared! Bring an umbrella, closed slippers, a rain coat and sweatpants
